Meet Ed Gannett
Ed Gannett is a Brooklyn-born native New Yorker, successful entrepreneur, and first-time author. His journey from homelessness to prosperity is a testament to the power of determination and an unyielding refusal to give up.
Born to a 15-year-old mother and raised primarily by his grandparents, Ed faced instability, abuse, and neglect from his earliest years. By 18, he was living out of his car. Within a year and a half, he became one of the youngest officers in the NYPD Police Academy.
Today, Ed owns an environmental consulting company and a real estate investment firm worth several million dollars. He is a loving husband, father, former amateur boxer, and a man who has survived three brushes with death, including MERSA, Legionnaires Disease, and a seven-bypass open-heart surgery.
Most importantly, Ed is committed to mentoring others, showing that no matter how dark life gets, there is always a way forward.
“Your past may shape you, but it never has to imprison you.”
